August 20, 2025 Happy Herbal Wednesday, Reader! It's shaping up to be a perfect fall here in North Idaho, and I hope where your place is in the world that the change of seasons is just beautiful too. I love seasonal shifts, because for each new season, there's such hope! As the plants move into their new ways, and as we do too, we can set new goals and plans for more joys and amazement in our lives. Really quick, I want to let you know that we're closing enrollment to the Confident Herbalist Tribe as of September 1st! We've had a number of new students join, and we want to get them onboarded well. Remember, if you're a student in DTDS or the Family Herbalist program (past and present), you have a coupon for an ongoing discount! 🌿First, students choose an Herbal Pilgrimage, or a success path of learning. 🌿Then students plan their learning steps. If you have questions, there's the community, or you can simply reach out to our team: support@healingharvesthomestead.com It's easy to get answers! 🌿Join the student village for tons of support and interaction, including LIVE almost weekly Q&A, plant deep dives, and special sessions CHATS that are recorded in case you can't make it. (These are all searchable, too!) 🌿Finally, enjoy the many different plant masterclasses and specialty courses inside the classroom! All come with at least one researched text as well as videos. 🌼 From beginners to intermediate, and even advanced studies, you'll find your way inside the Confident Herbalist Tribe. Best of all? It's affordable for just about everyone, and is a way to make progress in your studies in a safe and sound environment for learning herbalism. It's a place of true community. Right now inside the Confident Herbalist Tribe: Students are in the middle of enjoying a series of Special Sessions on Western Herbal Energetics, where we're learning about the body's different constitutional types, tissue states, and plant actions on the body...and about how these affect how and what you will formulate for a unique person. It's fascinating, and just one of the valuable aspects of the Tribe. I should mention that the speciality courses in our school are ALL included inside the Confident Herbalist Tribe, too, in addition to all the plant masterclasses. It's crazy how much we've made available inside. That's why people rarely leave~🥰 I'd love to see you inside! I'm not going to be sending a ton of notes as reminders, so if you're thinking about joining us, don't hesitate lest you forget (like I've done sometimes when there's something I want to do). Click the button below to see what's inside!
****************************************** Is Your Heart Calm? I had a dream last night, and I woke up feeling like I should share my special essential oil blend for a Calm Heart with you again, since it's been quite awhile, and we have many new readers (thank you!). It smells amazing, but that's not where the powers lie---it's in the phytochemistry of the essential oils and how they work on our brain and body. This special blend is one that has been proven in a clinical study to support lowered blood pressure, and is very helpful for me, students, and clients in terms of reducing and balancing stress levels. There are many studies now to support the therapeutic effects of these essential oils. PLUS... it smells amazing! The link below is to my YouTube video for how to make it. And here are a couple of helpful quick notes: The blend calls for lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia), sweet marjoram essential oil (Origanum majorana), ylang ylang essential oil (Cananga odorata), and neroli essential oil (Citrus aurantium L. ssp amara). These are all pretty affordable except for the neroli. Luckily, you can substitute it with petitgrain (Citrus aurantium L.) essential oil if you need to, which is from the same plant and not as expensive. Petitgrain is a distillation of the leaves, while neroli is a distillation of the flowers. It's not quite the same scent, but it's still a great substitute. **************************** Inspiration and Encouragement **As a holistic practitioner, we simply can't leave out the emotional and spiritual element of our health..... Did you know that studies have shown that about 80% of our daily thoughts (around 50,000 to 80,000 total) are negative? Wow. For me, a certified Christian life coach (Life Mentor School) and holistic clinical and certified herbalist/aromatherapist, this is significant and scary. It's one of the reasons I've begun putting stricter boundaries on the kind of information and discussions I allow in my head space. These negative thoughts really DO have an impact on our physical, emotional, and even (maybe especially) spiritual health. The common thoughts we have and the verses with them are from Heidi Lee Anderson on Instagram. I thought they were so wonderfully relevant in these times: You say: "I'm overwhelmed." God says: "Come to me." Matthew 11:28 *** You say: "I'm too tired." God says: "I'll give you rest." Matthew 11:29 *** You say: "Nobody cares." God says: "I care about every detail of your life." Matthew 6:26-30 *** You say: "This feels impossible." God says: "All things are possible." Matthew 19:26 *** You say: "I'm afraid." God says: "Fear isn't from Me." 2 Timothy 1:7 I hope you enjoy this bit of hope today and through this coming week! Also, I want to mention: I realize that not everyone on my email list is a Christian. But my faith literally drives all I do, and how can I not gently talk about it when I know how important it is for everyone to be given a choice about their salvation? I don't "Bible beat," but definitely give glory to our Creator who provided all this amazing plant medicine for us. As a holistic practitioner....and that means including spirit....I know how helpful being grounded in faith is for our overall well-being. You are welcome to unsubscribe if you don't like what I write or the things I share. The link is just below at the bottom of this note. I would LOVE to see you inside the Confident Herbalist Tribe before it closes for enrollment on September 1st! I'm not sure when we'll open again, but it will be several months at least. We've got some exciting things happening inside, and there is a payment option for you! Love, and Hugs; Health, and Herbs, Heidi P.S. Please forward this note along to a friend! And...do you have my best Fall Diffuser Blends? You can get it here! (Use the same email, and you won't get doubles from me.) Or...click the image below. ***************** P.S.S. If you're ready to take your herbalism and aroma studies seriously....or just to get started in a fun, effective way, then the Confident Herbalist Tribe is waiting for you! ******************************** You guessed it! This note is proudly sponsored by the Confident Herbalist Tribe...the best and most unique herbal membership out there! (I can say this truthfully because I'm a member of a LOT of herbal and aromatic memberships and mentorships for my own growth...and none hold a candle to what we offer.) |

Happy Herbal Wednesday, Reader! EEK! I'm a day late again, on my newsletter. Please give me grace. I'm working under several large deadlines with mini-deadlines on progress. One of these is a secret I'll let you in on soon! Stay tuned! Don't you just love the changing of the seasons? It doesn't even matter which one. But the move from summer heat into the cool, crisp air of the fall is hands down my favorite, followed closely by spring. Most of my body and mind just loves the changes, but my...
September 4, 2025 Happy Thursday, Reader! Oh, goodness! I know it's Thursday, and I'm a day late with this week's note. I'm not late very often, and I hope you'll forgive me. We welcomed many new members into the Tribe in the past few days, and...
August 27, 2025 Happy Herbal Wednesday, Reader! I hope the air is clean where you're at, I really do. I say this because we've been in the middle of several burning fires in the area bringing tons of smoke to our place, and one of them is BAD. The air quality has been pretty painful for a few days, so I've turned to an herbal tea blend I created specifically for smoky or polluted air a few years ago. Here's an herbal tea blend that can help you to breathe! If you live in a polluted city, this...
