November 6, 2026 Happy Friday! I've been teaching women all over the world to use the medicinal plants God has given to us for our medicine....and essential oils, too, which are a unique herbal extract and that can be amazing to work with. And I've been doing this long enough that I've noticed there are three things that trip women learning herbalism up over and over.... It's not that you don't want to learn herbalism and enjoy health in a more natural way. After all, if you didn't want to know what to do when a health issue arises, which remedy to choose and when, or how to grow, harvest, and create herbal medicine with plants you grow, then you wouldn't be reading this right now. These mistakes can sneak up on you, and they can prevent you from making the dream of becoming an herbalist a reality. Mistake #1: Trying to learn from TikTok, YouTube, or cheap AI created courses online. She's decided she finally wants to put a little time into her herbalism learning. But she's not sure she wants to invest money yet. So, she constantly scrolls social media, saves and bookmarks things, forgets all about them, and at the end of the day is more confused than ever. Or, she comes across what sounds like a great course online that's only $97 (and it comes with a certification), and she decides THAT is going to be the way. Only...she discovers the course is terrible, there's no support, and now she still has more questions than ever before. Mistake #2: Researching instead of doing. This one is so sneaky! It's because it "feels" productive. It's so easier to disappear down an AI research rabbit hole, visiting site after site, and not knowing if they're high value or not... (Probably, they're not, unless you know how to prompt AI really well.) Any skill, and especially the skill and knowledge of herbal medicine, comes from trying things over and over again. And then having community and a real mentor to ask questions and get support from. It's the doing....not the "facts" that get you somewhere. Mistake #3: Waiting for the right time. We've all used lack of time as an excuse. Time is valuable, after all! And most of us feel like we don't have enough of it these days. The trouble is that the whole free Saturday isn't coming, and every month you wait is another month of the same running desperately to the drugstore to grab several very expensive chemical concoctions that only mask symptoms and don't help the body really heal instead of reaching into your own home apothecary that's beautiful and natural....and that you understand. Here's what's important: None of these things are character flaws! They're things you were sold. Sold by a Big Pharma and medical industry and lifestyle that profits when you don't know about home remedies or how to take care of your own health more naturally with the plants that God gave to us for this purpose. Herbalist Coaching Week is five days of undoing exactly this. You're going to pick ONE path to learn....not five. You're going to make a remedy or two instead of reading about them. You're going to walk through formulation instead of feeling confused. And you'll leave with a plan. Monday, November 9 through Friday November 13, live at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time, about an hour to 90 minutes a day. It's free. We're having a special Kick-Off call Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Pacific time....and you can catch the replay for that, too! I'll see you inside!
NOTE: You might be thinking, "I can't make it all five days." And I want to tell you that you don't have to make it every single day. And if you can't show up live, that's ok too. We're giving you a special place inside our school for you to interact 24/7, leave posts, jot your questions down, and share. A special student community inside our larger one. You'll also get your own access to Herbalist Coaching Week as a course. And if you're a VIP, you get even more, including being able to be in special giveaways, discounts, and MORE. Hugs, Health, and Herbs, Heidi P.S. Remember: None of these mistakes are your fault, and all three of these come apart in 5 days. Get your free ticket inside HERE. |

November 4, 2026 Happy Herbal Wednesday! I don't know about you, but all this artificial intelligence stuff has really been stressing me out. I almost feel like it's made the last decade of my life spent writing quality herbalism content on my website and in books inside the School of Botanical Arts & Sciences completely irrelevant! Information has now become a commodity. Information---even "bad" information believed to be "good," is easily found in just a few seconds, where in the past,...
November 1, 2026 Happy Sunday! First, I apologize for not writing on Wednesday. Or Thursday, as I meant to do. The reason I didn't is because I have been in a healing state, heavy duty, since Monday afternoon. I finally had the second round of oral surgery, and this time it was more serious and extremely painful. This is Saturday as I write to you, and the entire side of my head and ear and of course the sockets, still hurt....although I'm no longer as incapacitated. Saying that makes me feel...
October 21, 2026 Hey there! I hope you're doing great on these beautiful fall (or spring if down under) days. I love the changing of the seasons.... Although...I feel kind of sad about putting the garden to rest for the winter, as we pull in the last of the harvest in the next weeks....but I'm also looking forward to planning next year's garden, too! Every single garden year is a brand new learning experience! ********************************** Why Do Different Aromatherapy Companies Have...
